The Adamawa State Government has given warning for biometric confirmation of its Civil Servants and retiree’s.
The Government, in a statement acquired on Saturday, said it has concluded designs to lead the new biometric check of the state’s labor force and retirees as of now on its payroll.
The verification exercise is booked to start one month from now, May 18, and will keep going for about a month and a half.
The Government statement, signed by the Permanent Secretary of Establishment and Training in the Office of Heading of Service, Dr. Barminus Gayus, showed that the activity is in consonance with the state’s Fiscal Transparency Accountability and Sustainable Program.
The Permanent Secretary expressed, “I’m coordinated to illuminate all Services, Offices and Offices (MDAs), that the state government will set out on a biometric check exercise of all its dynamic government workers and retirees.
“The biometric check exercise will begin on eighteenth May 2021 and will last for 6 weeks.”
Staff are directed to avail themselves with their National Identity Number (NIN), original of all relevant documents, including educational certificates and appointment letters.
“Completed forms should be countersigned by the Permanent Secretary or Chief Executive Officer of the respective Ministry, Department and Agency (MDAs),” the statement said.
