Kidnapped Federal University of Agriculture students released in Benue
Three abducted students from the Federal University of Agriculture in Makurdi have been released by Benue police (FUAM).
DSP Catherine Anene, the Public Relations Officer (PPRO), talked to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
Anene reported that they were released unharmed on Tuesday night and that no ransom was charged.
The students were abducted on campus on Saturday night while studying in the Engineering Department near the Theater Hall.
The investigation into the incident is still pending, according to the police.
Waku Rosemary, the school’s Director of Information, Protocol, and Public Relations, also confirmed the students’ release.
