The Alauga of Auga Akoko in Ondo State , Oba Samuel Agunloye, has appealed to the state government to consider the Isowopo area as it needed serious police and military presence.

Isowopo area shares boundaries with Edo and Kogi states.

He noted that incessant kidnapping and other criminal acts are now worrisome in the area.

The monarch’s appeal followed the abduction of three construction workers along Ikaramu/Akunu road.

The construction workers, whose identities has not been ascertained, were rehabilitating the Ikaramu-Akunnu Akoko Road when the hoodlums struck and whisked them to an unknown destination.

The monarch said something urgent must be done to address the situation which has become worrisome.

He said, “Our security agencies must brace up and curb incessant kidnapping in Akoko axis “
