Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Saturday paid a courtesy visit to the Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola in Osogbo, the state capital.
In attendance during the meeting includes; Wife of the governor, Kafayat Oyetola, and some of the governor’s aides that joined him to receive the ex-president.
Obasanjo was in the state to witness the installation of an Osun state former governor, Olagunsoye Oyinlola, as a church chieftain in Okuku, Odo Otin local government area of the state.
Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola was installed as the Baba ijo of Oba Moses Oyinlola memorial Anglican Church, Okuku on Saturday 18th April, 2021.
The chief press secretary to the governor said Obasanjo explained that he decided to use the opportunity of his presence in the state to visit the governor and greet him.
In his response, Governor Adegboyega Oyetola appreciated the visit and thanked the former president.
