Delta LG boss dissolves 2021 revenue committees

Hon. Chief Godwin Adode (JP), Chairman of the Ughelli North Local Government Council, has approved the immediate dissolution of all revenue committees for the year 2021.

Hon Felix Oderhohwo, Secretary to the Ughelli North Local Government Council, signed a statement to that effect.

All persons affected by the dissolution, according to the council chief, should hand up government property, including council receipts, to the Secretary to the Local Government’s office.

“They have been advised to stop collecting income on behalf of the Ughelli North Local Government Council, since doing so would be illegal, and defaulters would be handed over to law enforcement agencies to be prosecuted,” Adode added.

“I, the Chairman of the Local Government Council, thank them for their individual and collective contributions to the growth of the local government, and I wish them success in their future endeavors.”
