A team of unknown gunmen killed a mobile police officer in Anambra State’s Eziama-Uli, Ihiala local government area.
According to a community source, the victim was one of two mobile police officers who were providing security to a team of health officials who were conducting a vaccination operation at the Eziama-Uli Health Centre.
According to Metro Times, unknown gunmen stormed the health center and opened fire on the two police officers, killing one of them.
The second mobile cop was said to have made his way to safety.
“You people should not be celebrating while our leader, Nnamdi KANU, is languishing in DSS detention,” the unknown gunmen who invaded the community warned, warning “You people should not be celebrating while our leader, Nnamdi KANU, is languishing in DSS detention.”

Eziama-Uli is one of Anambra State’s border towns, located near the Orlu area of Imo State.
According to a source in the neighborhood, the residents of the community have been living in fear as a result of mysterious gunmen invading the area.
Ikenga Tochukwu, the state police command’s public relations officer, claimed he had not received information of the event when called.
