Yavoriv International Centre for Peacekeeping and Security is a 25-kilometer distance from the Polish border.

NATO was said to have used the facility on a regular basis prior to the invasion. Prior to the invasion, it was used to house NATO military instructors.

According to Russia’s defense ministry, the airstrike destroyed a big number of foreign weapons supplied by other countries. They claimed to have slain around 180 mercenaries from other countries.

“As a result of the operation, up to 180 foreign mercenaries and a considerable amount of foreign weaponry were destroyed,” said Igor Konashenkov, a Ministry official.

He noted that high-precision, long-range weapons were used to strike Yavoriv.

On Saturday, Russia had threatened that convoys of western military supplies for Ukraine would be considered legitimate targets.
