Terrorists have reportedly launched an attack on a community hosting College of Education, Gidan Waya in Southern part of Kaduna state.
Although no casualty has been reported in the incident, the terror groups attacked reportedly took place around major road in the early hours of the holy Saturday between Mararaban Kagoro axis and Gidan Waya.
A local who spoke in confidence expressed worry that “despite the recurring attacked and threats in the area, there has not been any military presence to safe guard the people”.
“For those traveling, Gidan Waya road is not safe this Morning because there was an attack in the early hours of today Saturday 16th April From Mararaban Kagoro Axis to Gidan Waya”, the local also stated.
Middle belt leaders also appealed to churches to pray hard for the inhabitance of Kagoro area where the attacks occurred.
Recalled that aeroplane suspected to be fighter jet repeatedly flew around southern part of Kaduna on Saturday in the early hours of the day, which caused apprehension and suspicion.
Contacted for clarity, the Kaduna police command spokesman Asp Mohammed Jalige could not respond before the time of filing this report.
