2023 Election: NEVVACA Inaugurate Adamawa 21 LGA’s Coordinators

The Northeast Village to Village Awareness Campaign for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar (Adamawa State Chapter) which is a political support/awareness group for the realization of the presidential ambition of the former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Turakin Adamawa has inaugurated it’s Local government Coordinators across the 21 LGA’s of the State.

The newly sworn in Coordinators are charged with the primary responsibility of sensitizing, educating and canvasing votes for the success of Alh. Atiku Abubakar in the forthcoming general elections.

Speaking during the event held at the Atiku Support Group Jimeta Yola, Mal. Umar Husseini, who is the National Organizing Secretary, highlighted the cardinal objectives of the group which according to him was to generate support for the former V.P and to make thorough assessment from village to village within Northeast region in other to know what exactly are the prons and cons when compared to the previous election and table it forward for immediate intervention.

He further told appointees that their inauguration was not for the fun of it but for them to kick-start mobilisation across the 21 Local Government Area’s, especially Mubi North, Shelleng, Girie, Yola North, Ganye, Maiha and Fufore which were the LGA’s the Wazirin Adamawa lost in the 2019 general election.

According to Husseini, it behoves on the newly inaugurated coordinators and members of the NAVVACA to work tirelessly for the realization of Atiku’s ambition by ensuring that he win the general election come 2023.

Also speaking, Abdulrahaman Bapullo urged the Youths to be politically active and to get their PVC’s ready in other to do wonder in the general elections. “We are charging you all to start mobilizing people in your respective localities. You should also mobilise people for the registration and collection of Permanent Voters’ Cards (PVCs) as that is the only thing that guarantee your chances of participating in the election” Bapullo said.

The Oath of alligence was administered to the coordinators by Barr. Leader Leneke represented by Barr. Ibrahim Jibril Jibo Jimeta.

Dignitaries at the event was the Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly Hon. Aminu Iya Abbas represented by his deputy Hon. Peter Makondo, Member Yola North, represented by Hon. Martins Majanga, Hon. Atiku Talba among others.
