Ministry for Intergovernmental Affairs, special duties gets New Commissioner in Borno

Sequel to his swearing in as Commissioner by the Executive Governor of Borno State Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, Hon. Pogu Lawan Chibok took over the affairs of the ministry of inter governmental and Special Duties, as the Honourable Commissioner.


The permanent Secretary, Ministry for intergovernmental affairs and special duties, Alhaji Usman Biu, while handing over the Affairs of the Ministry to the new Commissioner welcomed him on behalf of the entire staffs of ministry and promise to work with him.

In his remarks shortly after taking over the affairs Hon. Pogu Lawan thanked Almighty Allah and his Excellency, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum for the opportunity to serve as a member of the state executive council.

While addressing the Staffs of the ministry the honourable Commissioner thanked them for the support and urge them to work hand in hand for the Success of the ministry.

The Council Chairman of Chibok LGA Hon. Umar Ibrahim, Hon. Mohammed Kauji Former Commissioner, Hajiya Hauwa Mai Musa Former Permanent Secretary, Traditional Leaders, Stakeholders, party Supporters, among others were in attendance.
