2023: I remain Southern Kaduna LP Senatorial candidate – Michael Aura

The Senatorial candidate of Labour Party (LP), Southern Kaduna Senatorial Zone, Engr. Michael Auta has enjoined supporters to disregard the rumours making round that he’s working for the All Progressives Congress (APC) or the People Democratic Party (PDP) in the State, describing it as propaganda and falsehood.

In a statement on Sunday in Kaduna, Auta said it was unfortunate that anyone would levelled such unfounded allegations against his person, adding that he’s too big to be bought over by any political party.

Engr. Auta tagged the act as a sponsored campaign of hatred and calumny in the public domain, and calculated attempt to confused his supporters who have remain firm, committed and are yearning for justice and fair representation come 2023 general elections.

“We know that such calculated misinformation is coming from a usual quarters, but we’re committed and ready to change the political status quo that have remained domicile on our people.

Auta maintained that he is not working for any political party and does not only remained a Labour Party member; but the preferred choice to represent the Southern Kaduna people ahead of the 2023 general elections.

“It is laughable that anyone would accuse me of working for political parties that have lost touch with our present reality.

“People need to stop mounting such campaign of calumny against their perceived rivals”, he said.

He noted that the false allegation against him emanated from the camp of his political opponents, who were out to tarnish his hard earned reputation.

The Senatorial hopeful challenged those who levelled the allegation against his person to come forward with proof or will not hesitate in taken a legal action.

According to Aura, he is in the contest to rescue his people who have suffered from bad leadership.

“I am in the contest to rejigged the system, conscientize our people on the need to vote for leaders with impeccable track record that can entrench true democratic values.

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja Estate business mogul is urging his supporters to remain committed and focused until they achieved their desired result.

He however decried that over the years leaders who were voted to give credible representation were only interested to remain in office rather than bringing infrastructural developments to the electorates.

The LP candidate added that Southern Kaduna region must not mortgage their future for peanut come 2023 general elections, stressing they must defend their votes no matter the intimidation by political opponents.
