A Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and former Presidential aspirant, Abdulkareem Abdul, has predicted that the 2023 general elections may not hold due to crises.

Popularly known as Mai-Tantabara, Abdul who was among the PDP Presidential aspirant who could not afford the party’s contestant form said the crises will erupt among the political parties candidates owning to deaspiration and lead to elections cancellation.

Abdul who disclosed this in an interview in Kaduna home state, faulted Bola Ahmed Tinubu over Muslim- Muslim ticket, and Atiku Abubakar for picking Okowa instated of Wike.
According to him, same faith ticket seriously undermine the sensitivity of Christian population and integrity in Nigeria and cannot be supported by a responsible Muslim like himself.
On Atiku Abubakar, he said Okowa is unpopular and not known in the northern Nigeria as much as Wike who stood for the party and took care of PDP, and also very vocal.

He is also of the opinion that primary elections of APC and PDP should have been cancelled for the show and used of money during votes if not for failure of the government in fighting corruption and injustice.
While he quoted Obasanjo, Abdul reiterated that the current leaders have truly failed the country, adding that the last of the failures would stopped at president Buhari as the country will not tolerate another incompetent leader to lead the country.
He lamented that as former vice president, Atika could not bring any development to his own state Adamawa, other than the university that only children of the most richest people could afford and attend.
“From all indications crisis will erupt, crisis will come from the two major political parties and will lead to nullifying the election. We cannot continue to tolerate this kinds of things in this country’, he said.
