PTAN to FG: Rescue Yawuri, Bethel female students abandoned in captivity

..Apply same train victims pattern

The national President of Parents Teacher Association of Nigeria (PTAN) Alhaji Haruna Danjuma has decried abandonment of Federal Government College Yawuri female students in captivity of terrorists currently circulating in viral video on social media, for over a year.

The kidnapped female students were reportedly seeing carrying all sorts of war weapons in the viral video, which he said is really dangerous for their future .

In a chat with newsmen, the national president expressed shocked and dissatisfaction on seeing kidnapped abandoned secondary school girls holding all sort of dangerous weapon, calling on their parents to come to their aids.
According to him, the lives of students are in danger “and as such they are exposed to dangerous weapons and notorious people surrounding them.

Danjuma appreciated FG for the released of kaduna Abuja abducted train victims but equally reminded the government of kebbi school students and kaduna.

He appealed to kebbi state government, kaduna state and federal government, to as a matter of urgency, try all its possible best to rescue their kidnapped children in the hands of terrorists.

“We saw our children carrying dangerous weapon and this is not really good for the parents and the society.

“We as PTAN expressed sadness with the latest trending video on social media showing our kids carrying war weapons carrying for help”, he said.

The national president appealed to federal government of Nigeria to “equally use the same wisdom, skills and pattern in rescuing kaduna Abuja train abducted victims to secure the released of our abandon female school students that are still in captivity for over one year .

One of the Girl talking in Hausa language saying “Daddy come and help us get out of here please, we were kidnapped, been in the bush. Pls help us daddy, if not you will never see us again. Pay them daddy.

“The students of Yawuri school that were abducted since last year were indeed 11 in numbers and there is the Bethel Baptist high school in kaduna still with the bandits.

Danjuma who also thanked the bandits for not molesting the students also called on federal government of Nigeria and ASUU to resolve the 7 months on going strike to save Nigeria education from collapsing.

He noted that the strike has affected the quality od education in a country and hence the need to bring an end and returned the
children back to school.

Similarly the national president foundation for the protection of women and children in Nigeria hajiya ramatu Tijjani equally draw the attention of governments on the need to rescue all the kidnapped secondary school girls and other p p citizens that are still in captivity in the forestry.

She called on traditional title holder’s and religious leader to help secure the released of all the kidnapped victims across the 19 northern states of Nigeria

While appealing to jamiyyar matan arewa and arewa consultative forum with coalitions of northern group to call on the government for the release of all kidnapped victims in the country.
