Troops of Operation Hadin Kai in the North-East region, have killed three Boko Haram terrorists during a fighting patrol in Gubio Local Government area.
Gubio is located about 84 km to the restive capital of Maiduguri Borno state.
It was gathered that the troops in conjunction with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) in a joint operation, intercepted some terrorists who usually terrorised commuters and robbed them of their valuables on Friday evening.
An Intelligence Sources told Zagazola Makama, a Counter Insurgency Expert and Security Analyst in the Lake Chad, that the troops were abled to gun down three terrorists.
The sources said that two of the terrorists carried Ak47 riffles while the third one was their rider.
“We recovered two Ak47, two Magazines and motorcycle from the terrorists.
